Pune’s World Book Day
Pune’s World Book Day is an annual book fest. This festival celebrates the power of storytelling to inspire and uplift. The festival focused on stories of resilience by writers who are visually impaired, differently abled, in confinement, or struggling with social imbalance, showcasing how the impact of literature can be deep and profound.

aWrt Festival
The aWrt festival is Pune’s first art festival in the slum. It is a vibrant artistic showcase in a slum, where the stories and identities crafted by children take centre stage. It contains performances and artworks created by the children, women and the residents of the slum. This festival celebrates their creativity and newfound confidence they find along the way.

Vridh Rang
At Nivara Old Age Home and Vriddha Mitra, we enrich the lives of senior citizens through art and literature. Poetry recitals, storytelling, music, and creative sessions invite seniors to not only enjoy the experience but also actively participate—sharing their own poems, singing songs, and expressing themselves. These moments help break the silence of isolation and replace it with shared joy, dignity, and deep engagement, proving that it’s never too late to feel heard, valued, and alive.
